  • If only they were European fit not the classic fit…only 200 available to…

  • Are these non-iron and is classic fit better for beefier bodies or is European fit better?

    • They definitely won't be non-iron and yeah, classic fit is a bit more forgiving with bigger blokes. European is a bit slimmer and tapered through the sides.

Fat people wear classic, sexy people wear European.

        • -1

And you voted +'ve… does that mean you like the deal, like the brand, and wear or want to wear the brand? ;P

        • I don't want Classic or European,
Slim fit is fitted for sexy people,
I find European bigger around the torso than Classic… :S

        • Voted +ve because it's a good price for what it is. I've seen them in Myer etc for aroud $35-40. Doesn't mean I like the shirts.

  • Ain't European the same as Slim fit? I picked up so much Ralph Lauren and Polo when I was in Kuala Lumpur stocked up. Sooooo cheap!

  • Polyester / Cotton blend

means that polyester content is greater than cotton. not so good in queensland weather.
they are most probably no-iron due to amount of polyester.

reasonable price for van huesen shirts. dimmeys richmond used to have these regularly for $12-15.

though would rather buy shirts from vancl @ madeinchina.com for $14 shipped.

  • I am wearing a Van Heusen shirt now. I like them as they have shirts that actually fit me and are not too expensive. I have about 15-20 of them. Some of their styles are also quite good looking.

  • Discovered Charles Tyrwhitt shirts recently, (http://www.ctshirts.co.uk/), infinitely better fit and quality than VH, haven't looked back.

Considering the strength of the AUD, I'd say they're a better buy overall, sale or no sale.

Not a rep by the way…
