They're handy, bright and easy to attach (velcro work well) to poles, awnings, side of the car etc.
I've made my own with led-strip lights and plastic conduit from Bunnings, and use them all time, but the 12V hanging globes in the car unused.What is the attraction of those bars?
When camping, I just use 12V LED downlights like these:It's the same reason why people happily go to JB and buy a computer instead of going to Umart and choosing a processor, motherboard, RAM, case, hard drive, etc.
Though $40 is a great price, especially if you want the 36W mains adaptor.
Don't forget the IP44 weather resistance, 3x dimmers, cables with water-resistant plugs, hooks, battery terminal clamps, velcro wraps, metal hooks, and convenient case to hold everything. :)

Iv just rang 10 bunnings all happy to price match these Arlec lights as it’s a promo item

And iv never been knocked back on a clearance price or promo price at bunnings as long as I have a reciept or photo of said clearance
So do bunnings price match their own stores interstate? Anyone tried yet at other bunnings stores to get this deal?
The price of the pack has now dropped to $79 on Bunning's website. I tried on Saturday at Epping in Melbourne and got flatly refused to price match. Though now it is cheaper you might have more luck.
I tried two stores in Brisbane and both refused.
Product has now been removed from Bunnings website - good luck those who can find one :(
