Thanks OP! Ordered 2. Looks like it's clearance stock. Not many around.

Arlec is a good brand honestly, cheap and decent quality stuff. Never had problems with them.

    • Ooof I've had multiple arlec products be sub par :( But appreciate there are lots of different experiences out there.

For me, this has too many moving parts to expect Arlec to get it all right haha. Sender, receiver, multiple power supplies, chime.

      • Yeah it's a bit of a mixed bag. Got a couple of things I'm reasonably happy with, had some issues with others. You'd generally find similar stuff for cheaper online but the convenience of no-questions-asked returns at Bunnings often makes it worthwhile.

A lot of their smart stuff is rebadged tuya - which is a good thing

  • It says Battery included then goes on to say 1xA23 required. Can anyone confirm if all the batteries are included?

    • +1

Reading it, it says the chime requires 3 AA batteries and the doorbell transmitter requires 1 A23. It looks to just be clarification on what you'll need to keep stock of for replacements. It does say batteries included, so the only reasonable conclusion is that the 4 batteries required are included. Though they're probably a cheap generic brand that won't last long.

Another model states "1 X A23 battery included, and 3 x AA batteries not included" so I'd put money on that being the case. The common battery type is self supply.

      • Well that's rude for the site to say they're included. Though I'd probably have been more annoyed having to change the ones they supply in like a month anyway.

  • Thank you, also ordered 2 with onepass. Mum bought a cheap door bell and you have to hammer the chime repeatedly for it to decide to ring, and might as well get one for my place at that price.

Just bought one, the amount of different tunes on it are ridiculous. Too many. It has under the sea, the little mermaid song. I’m sold on that.

  • I'll call b4 i come.
I wont come over out the blue.

    • So what happens when your arrive and my phone isn't on me or you knock on my door and I don't hear that either.

I'll just give you a key to surprise me ;)

  • Thanks, this is good. My current wireless bell’s battery life is very poor, so I hope this one lasts a reasonable amount of time.

  • Alternative, same price, 75m range, different look, stock levels = lots. https://www.bunnings.com.au/arlec-premium-38-sound-battery-p…

If you find replacing batteries annoying, try searching for a Kinetic Energy Doorbell.
