I'm planning to buy the Dyson Supersonic in Red or Purple for my mum's birthday on the 16th of June and am looking for a good deal($399). Myer currently has a promotion but doesn't have the purple in stock. Currently looking at Bing Lee which has 10% off which equates to $450. I'm wondering if I should pull the trigger or to wait for a better deal.
Does anyone know if Bing Lee or the Good Guys have end of financial year sales?

no purple on ebay store or no purple at all? Just swap in store … David Jones should let you swap it without a receipt, but with ID.

Another option would be to try the "it was a gift line", but yeah, returns without receipts are YMMV.
Not mentioned on their website, but apparently there's a whole bunch of rules they have that aren't on the website e.g you can only refund and rebuy within seven days.
The fact that these aren't mentioned on the website gives you some bargaining power.
Source: tried to return a Supersonic a month after I bought it because I got it much cheaper during a later sale they had, and only succeeded when I pretended that I managed to score a just-released Supersonic for a friend's birthday
No purple just on ebay store. Thats a great idea! I'll check with Myer if they allow the same thing.
