Most of these heaters are crap. Just buy the cheapest one. They are all largely the same.

In saying that, if you own your house, you're better to invest $1000 and put in a split system. They will use 1/3 to 1/5 or less of the power of these plug in heaters to achieve the same heat output.
I would have thought 2000W is 2000W as well but Choice found differences in how quickly the heaters heated a room, heat distribution, thermostat performance.
This one was at least well reviewed by CHOICE and is currently on special at Amazon AU, down from $70-odd:
