I am with Optus mobile and when I am in transit on the train to and from home to work (Central coast - Sydney CBD) I experience a network outage most of the time. Can you suggest which network provider you are with and have a stable connection?
Telstra apparently is the better bet.
I really feel for people who commute to the central coast every day. So many hours wasted on a train.
How far is it?
depending which station - but Gosford to Central is approx. 1.20mins
Plus walking time to the office and then drive time home. People always talk about it "only" being 80-100 minutes, but all the extra time around it is killer.
This suggests improvement is on the way, but maybe only Telstra and resellers.

No network provider can provide you with an outage free experience on your train trip. However, based on some testing I did a while ago Telstra is slightly more stable than vodafone and optus if your phone has B28 (700 Mhz).
