Nikon D750 (Body Only) $1634 Delivered (Grey Import) @ E-Infinity eBay

71

Hi guys, long time member, first time poster.

Saw this on eBay today and it’s a great deal. Usually c.$2400 and maybe $1,950 on sale.

Not sure about E-infinity as a store, I’ve had no experience with them.

Don’t think any of the current eBay codes can be applied to make this cheaper, but if anyone is successful let me know and I’ll update.

Cheers

I bought a ~$300 lens from them once via eBay. Box arrived a little squashed, but that's often the case with international shipping. Lens was fine, no issues, just sold it the other day after owning it for about 18 months.

  • Isn't this a pretty standard price for very import? A handful of sellers seem to have it at this level pretty consistently.

    • Where does it say it’s a grey import? Shipped from Victoria.

It it has zero mention of Australian manufacturer warranty its pretty much 100% grey import. Those sellers and sites always try to obscure as much information as possible. You have to search their website to find out information.

  • Yeah, they ship from o/s and the warranty is their own.
Since the sale is here you should be covered by Australian Consumer Law's consumer guarantees which trump local warranties anyway. But you might be looking at some delays and push-back if you make a claim.

www.productreview.com covers retailers as well as products and helps you identify the unscrupulous.

  • Do not forget that eBay will charge you GST as well since.

    • My understanding is that as this is a local sale GST is included.

You can also buy direct from the e-infinity shop here and usually that's cheaper but you don't get the ebay guarantees.

  • I requested a price match for $1950 based off the Amazon AU list price over at Georges Cameras and they obliged. Not sure if you are better off just doing that if you really want this camera but dont want a grey market import. Also Georges has a 12month interest free Zip Money deal on. Note Zip Money charge you a $6 account fee every month as long as you owe them money.

It's looking likely that Nikon will be releasing some DSLR updates before the end of the year and in the face of the slew of new FF mirrorless DSLR prices face downward pressure.

Its cheaper on their website. $1,589.00.
