Kenwood Chef XL Elite KVL6300S 1400W Food Mixer $477.83 + Shipping / Pickup @ Bing Lee eBay

PONG20

Long time lurker, first time poster. Had been following the price of Kenwood mixers for a while. Was disappointed when I missed out on the clearance sale posted a bit back from Kenwood World ($515) but it's now cheaper at Bing Lee eBay when applying the PONG20 20% off code.

Original 20% off Bing Lee on eBay Deal Post

Arguably better than the kitchen aid for those who have been in the market for a stand mixer.

  • What's the difference between the 6300 and 6100 models? Both do 1400W and seem to include identical attachments.

    • I believe they have stainless steel bowl tools so they're dishwashable. You can compare them on this website: https://www.kenwoodworld.com/en-au/products/kitchen-machines…

      • I have the 6100 and all the bowl tools are dish washable. It comes with a dough hook, k mix paddle, soft paddle, whip, folding tool and stainless bowl.

        • Hey Wolfshooter, was curious to know so I called up Kenwood customer support and they said that stainless steel attachments (6300) vs the non stick coated aluminium attachments (6100T) are more durable and are dishwashable. She recommended not dishwashing the non stick coated aluminium attachments as they will wear out and might void the warranty. She also mentioned the casing is made of diecast metal for the 6300 and that it is diecast aluminium for the 6100T which also adds to the durability.

It seems there's 2 versions of the chef sense, the 6100T and the 6100B. The 6100B looks to be similarly priced on their website to the 6300 and I think it's because it has a diecast metal casing minus the stainless steel attachments. This doesn't explain the weight specifications online tho but I've seen both machines in store and there's a definite weight difference between them. I'm sure if you have any more queries you can contact Kenwood directly :)
