What's differences between these and other wifi cameras? Like Vimtag,hikvision etc? Seems way over priced and also requiring a base station?
Base station makes it more reliable than other WiFi cameras.

Anyone know the real life battery usage in this? Not sure if these even worth the effort (charging) compared to wired, if outside and mounted fairly high/not in reach.
You have the option to hard wire them as well.
Battery usage - it depends if you are running 24/7 or only when not at home. I'm the later and recharge indoor cameras every 10 weeks and outdoor 7-8 weeks as there is more foot traffic. GeoFencing feature is great but temperamental and not always reliable.
Are these Arlo cameras indoor only? It doesn't say it's IP55 etc?? Can they do POE?
