  • Quite bizarre that NSW gets double points. Anyone know why it might the case?

Head office is in NSW? Apart from that, no idea. Maybe ask on their social media pages and see if they respond

Maybe it's on tour. VIC next week then SA and so on.

      • Doubtful, since it's 1000 in WA this week. If it was 2000, I'd snap up 10 of these on each account

    • Too many bonus abuser's in Vic . Spoilt the party .

Last word don't think of going to Albury if you in Vic the town was wiped clean by the Bugger's day 1 :)

  • Am I able to use the card and ask for cash out like at McDonald’s?
Has anyone tried? Obviously it won’t be the whole $100 but maybe $50 or $80?

    • +2

No, but do try and let us know

    • +3

No, won't work. Cash transactions are banned by the card issuer.

  • When does this deal finish?

    • It's literally in the OP …

    • Weekly special deal usually ends on Tuesday.

  • How did some people buy these with eWish cards? I tried it and the self-service terminal just said not allowed.

    • No one did it, only mentioned it, no success report. I think it has been over 15 months since the change.

BTW, the deal is only for NSW if you do not realise it yet.

      • We bugger me, now I have to find a use for $200 eWish card.

Yeah QLD still gets 1000 points.

  • What's up with Woolies Town Hall not allowing you to use these Eftpos cards to buy Only 1 Visa cards this week?

    • +1

Just did this today, split payments.

      • Town Hall or another shop?

        • Not TH. You may notice Woolies machine identifies this EFTPOS card as a MasterCard. There maybe underlying agreement not disclosed to the public.

          • @Neoika: Interesting. I guess the Town Hall staff were just instructed to do this, to stop people recursively accumulating the $4.

            I might try another store.
