  • Nice find!

  • Good price, but I need a bigger wrist for a 44mm lol

  • Well darn. Don't need another watch, saving for other purchases. Seems I now have another watch lol.

Tried cashrewards as well apparently 10% on watches but have no idea if that includes Amazon US items, probably not, but can only try :)

Also obviously cheaper to sign up to prime for a month than to pay for shipping.

    • Got cashrewards confirmation this morning that it seems to be processing. ~$30 back so I'm stoked.

  • is this a genuine Seiko product?

    • +1

It's sold by Amazon US (not a reseller) who are a legit Seiko supplier, so I'd be surprised if there were issues. Even if it goes south, amazon is usually pretty easy to deal with.

  • Any opinions about the accuracy of seiko automatic watches? I vaguely remember reading they can lose or gain time.

    • If accuracy is that important to you get a quartz. Mine seems accurate enough but the power reserve doesn't last that long.

    • My recently purchased blue samurai only lost 10 seconds over a week, but the power reserve only lasts a day of not wearing it so unless you wear it every day you'll be setting the time frequently enough not to worry about the mild inaccuracy

      • The 4R35 in your Samurai should get up around 40 hours - you can always manually wind it if you aren't wearing it for a full day to get the charge level up.

        • Strangely, I actually enjoy the process of setting the time every now and then. I've got a couple of rubber straps en route from Barton so when they get here I reckon I'll be wearing it almost every day so I should be fine with the power reserve

The bezel insert and the dial look hideous together, but a new bezel insert could really transform it. The black and orange bezel insert from the SRPB97 should do or an aftermarket mode bezel.

    • +2

Pretty sure this is just a bad photo, every other photo I've seen is orange not red on the bezel.

      • That would explain it. The photo looks puss.

  • I legit thought this was a Sekiro Samurai watch.
