Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury Gaming Mouse $39 @ Mwave

280

Was looking for a decent mouse for a friend under $50 and noticed Mwave have a deal on the G402. It has been about the $40 mark in the past, but $39 is cheaper than anywhere else I can find at the moment. At this price it's great value for a great mouse.

You can also price beat it at Officeworks for extra 5% off as they currently stock it for $71. (I've had no issues price beating Mwave in the past)

  • Great mouse.
Picked up a year or so ago and have had no problems.

  • Great mouse but there are better options such as the G102 but the same or cheap price.

    • The G102 is a good mouse, but I don’t personally find it comparable to the G402 as it has different specs and very different ergonomics. It is well suited to someone who doesn’t like the shape of the G402 though.

Exactly, the sensor is quite a bit better as well as it has a better cable and it much lighter all leading to a better overall mouse for the price.

      G102

      Hardly any extra buttons though.

More buttons is both not really needed and add unessasary weight.

Says who? Maybe only for you.
I got this mouse mainly for the extra buttons.

          • @Ughhh: GPW,Model O and all Zowie Mice to name a few of the best mice there is all make do with two side buttons, it's not exactly a must have for gaming.
If you specificly want extra buttons for a certain game then thats fine it's a great mouse i used one for years.

Im sure they are. But I would ignore all of them based on lack of buttons. The only reason why I ditched my last mouse.

it's not exactly a must have for gaming.

Depends on each person and/or game. Can't say its not a must for everyone.

              • @Ughhh: I don't think you quite understand what a need vs want is, my original comment is still accurate but that doesn't mean you shouldn't get something with more buttons if it would suit whatever your use case is.

Not here to start a disscussion just wanted to comment that there are better mice for the same price which fhas more positive features than the G402 better sensor, weight, Cable vs extra buttons and maybe the size if you have larger hands.

Have a good day nothing more for me to say.

Do you need a gaming mouse, or want a gaming mouse? Stick with the cheap $5 ebay mouse, maybe go vintage with the ball instead of laser/optical.

                  Goodday

                  • @Ughhh: Ok final comment lol

The sensors in a $5 mouse can spin out and inhibit your gameplay quite badly less so with say a cheap logitech mouse but even more so with a no name brand $5 ebay/aliexpress mouse, so imo this is MUCH MORE a need vs a want while a few extra buttons will asisst slightly but never inhibit your gameplay as much as a bad sensor would.

Love this mouse so much that I have two at home. $39 is a great price.

  • Bought on last deal — for me it’s too small ( narrow )and too light- still a great deal for a quality cheap wired mouse

    • oh, interesting - it is too big for me :) Great mouse though

Great mouse for the price, but still prefer using my old MX 518 (the one that looks like it has dents all over it, even after all the thrashing its copped, its still going strong.

  • Great mouse for killing scrubs on cs:go 😂

  • Nice mouse, but remember to make sure the mouse suits you.

G402 is a bit of a large mouse, may be to big for some folks (was for myself).

  • Somewhat disappointed with this mouse as the lift off distance is quite high for something that's designed for fps.
