  • Looks like a really good deal for the price if their service is decent. Thanks for posting.
They accept Paypal too which is nice.

I bought 6 x 500GB blocks. Will need to register 6 separate Services in SAB, but not a big deal.

What you guys use it for ?
    And what the block means?

  • +3

    Got 4 x 500.

Notice after there isn’t the “non expiring” statement like the 1tb one.

Edit. The reddit link. Someone asked support who confirmed these are non expiring as well.

  • Thanks OP, got 4 X 500

  • In before someone asks what Usenet is used for like every other deal posted. Oh wait ;)

  • Bought 5 X 500, nice.

  • Hang on a minute. It’s cheaper to buy 2 500GBs right?

    • yup, i guess the 1 tb gives you the convenience of configuring less number of providers in your nzb client.

  • Thanks OP

    Question..

Should you configure your primary as Group ~0 and these blocks as Group 1?

    • +1

I had a primary account and a secondary block before purchasing these blocks, both are on group 0 (nzbGet) which is basically "no group".
These Usenet prime blocks are all on group 1.
Don't think it makes any sense to set the group to a non 0 value if you don't have multiple accounts from the same provider/backbone.

    • +1

I have my "unlimited" monthly account as my Group 0, with block accounts from different providers as lower priorities, just to fill in missing articles.
That way, the bulk of my downloading doesn't eat into my block accounts.

    • Thanks folks, that's what I thought. Appreciate the insight
