Cheapest I have found and a good brand as well. Overall, I think this category is more expensive than when I last had a car. If anyone know where to get parts/fluids cheap in Brisbane or Gold Coast feel free to pm or post here.

I have before, no issues with the place I went to.
What year? Is it in warranty? Believe you need an API gl-5 oil if you're in warranty, or at least a 5w30. My 2018 3 gets Penrite enviro 0w20

@Homr: I normally use magnatec 10w40 or helix hx7 10w40 on my xtrail , but I just used Castrol edge A3/b4 5w30 as I got some in the supercheap 2 dollar deal.
It might just be in my head but it's quietened the engine on startup these last few cold mornings as it's a thinner oil. Mind you the oil was running a bit low before I changed it.
I don't think you'd notice much of a difference…
My 3's still in warranty till 2023 so it's up to the mechanic as to what oil is used but from what I can tell it'll meet warranty requirements.

I just had a car service done and my mechanic charged me $60 for the oil
