Rep, do you have any short cable UBS C / USB A to lightning?

    • +1

      Hi mate,
So we've been working very closely with a few manufacturers re USB C to Lighting MFI cables. Hopefully it'll be ready in a couple of weeks and there will certainly be a deal for OZbargainers.

      • Thank you for the update, I will hold off on purchasing and wait for your post on OzBargain.

hey rep, only a single review on amazon and it's 1 Star and it mentions cable won't fast charge.
Any more reviews elsewhere or a response?
I'm keen to bite on a longer usbC cable but only if it can legit handle fast charge protocol and 3A throughput.

      Hi Richox,
We totally understand your concerns. The review is not a verified purchase review. we also contacted the reviewer to make things right but haven't heard back from them.

If you want something even longer I found these 3m cables last week.
They fast charge and feel sturdy enough that I ordered another pack, not sure how they'll hold up long term.

    • One of the drivers for these types of sales is to get some reviews up, but by people who paid less. They're likely to be happier than those who pay their normal price. My how cynical i am.

  • Hi ftw9 /anyone,
Do you know if this will be able to handle data transfer rates needed for Android auto ?
Struggling to find a cable for my pixel 2 xl.

    • Not Op, but this should work fine for Android Auto

      • These only do usb 2 / 480Mbps, how fast does Android Auto need?

Must have a really fast car. Faster than mine?

So what you’re saying is that this is the LOWEST GRADE type of USB-C cable available? No USB-PD certified chip (only a resistor needed for 3A) and only USB 2.0 speeds? I’m sorry, for $10 that’s hardly a bargain! At least they are 2m, but that’s about it!

Heaps on eBay available delivered under $10.

    Certified

By who? The USB-IF? There's no record of that.

    • No reply means I must assume there is no certification…
