There was a sequel planned but it fell through, maybe a remake one day down the road.
The Sequel ended up being a MMO type game. i did play the Beta but unfortunately they spent way too much and the company went under. No more sleeping dogs again unfortunately. It was an awesome game. lobbing some bloke on the spike of a swordfish.. yeah top game. haha if this is the HD version - its getting my $2.69
even though its not the same, you should try the Yakuza series if you havent.

Are the DLC content any worthwhile? I finished the game fairly comprehensively before but haven't gone through the DLC content and this might be the cheapest way to buy them.
There was a fun vampire type DLC with some cool new moves if you like the old Asian hopping vampire sorta movies.
The other one is a tournament on a island where you can get more moves and costumes. If you like the combat of the game you'll enjoy this.Worth it for the price for sure.
