This seems like quite a good price for battlefront 2 on Origin at the moment.

Worth it for five bucks, the campaign is decent. MP is not good.
Bought it Friday, refunded Sunday. In between I tried finding a match in each game mode and there were between 3-5 players waiting for another 13 or so to actually start a match. I don't care about single player, but multiplayer seems dead.

The first game died within 3-4 months and I paid full price because a friend convinced me to buy it.

The game is certainly not dead coming from someone who has played since launch, there are lobbies in Galactic Assault and Heroes vs Villains every night (after work/dinner until mid-night on weekdays) on Australian servers.
Servers are always full you just have to set your region to us in the settings
The game isn't actually dead you just have to play at very specific times to find anyone. The multiplayer is actually pretty fun, all the micro transactions have been removed and replaced with a levelling progression system. The campaign on the other hand is terrible in my opinion.

You have to remember the game is over 1 1/2 years old and AU playerbase is small and PC is the smallest platform.
With that said there are matches for Galactic Assault and Heroes vs Villains at peak times on AU servers (after work until mid-night on weekdays and late morning or early arvo until bit after mid-night on weekends).
You have to go into ea settings and set it to the US as the game is dead in Australia which is where it puts you automatically
Was gonna say that the Xbox version got the old school DLC added in a free update the other day and that it's probs the better buy, but then remembered this is the redo of BF2.
Go buy BF2 2005. Buy this too for all I care, but go buy the old one.
$2.99 and I might have grabbed it for the single player.
Edit:Forget that. After watching some reviews and clips, $0.99 and I might buy it. Why did they bother with the half hearted attempt, or did it fall apart halfway through production?why u guys hating, this is a solid game. you can find MP games on aus server during peak times, otherwise USW is playable on like ~160 ping.
game is still getting content and being supported, you can do alot worse for $6
Battlefront 1 ultimate edition is excellent this is a bit meh. I'm not sure why but you don't get the same feels playing it. It's still pretty and worth a spare 6 bucks for the graphics and occasional dive.
I got this for $8 during a previous deal JUST for the campaign, was well worth it.
Showing up as $39.99 for me. Looks like I missed out :(
Yeah, looks like it's expired. If it's any consolation, I didn't end up getting it either (sat on it too long)
