Price down from $1,349.95 to $499. Quick bit of googling seems a pretty decent price. To confirm doesn't actually come with a GoPro camera! The listing on the Amazon "Today's Deals" page is misleading as it states just "GoPro Karma Drone with Hero5"..

      This is the one and only Karma drone. So yes. Only need to hope it’s not the same batch.

          It fell off for no reason during flight I believe. Not sure how to check the batch though. But personally I believe Amazon is generally good with warranty/quality claims.

          The battery terminals came loose in a few cases, causing loss of power and falling/crashing. Not sure how easy it would be to fix yourself.

      Have this and probably wouldn't recommend:

      • very poor range (line of sight only)
      • works only on WiFi so looses signal very very easily in populated areas(can buy aftermarket booster antennas)
      • if signal is lost, has a tendency to 'landing at locations' (over a lake is bad)
      • connection to controller is very hit and miss

      Pros:
      - very compact
      - super easy to fly
      - controller screen is high res and runs Android

      EDIT: this pack comes with the Karma Grip. This thing is awesome! Makes this deal slightly better especially if you already have a GoPro

        Yes the grip is what makes it appealing. But the cons are significant and finding genuine batteries is also a problem. Was considering it for travel but most of the places I visit are near water… :/

    Theres a reason these are selling cheap. I have used drones for the last 5-6 years and have tried a fair few different brands, DJI always comes out on top for ease of use, portability and quality control.

    Get yourself a Spark in this price range instead, sure on paper its not as good but it will be way more fun to use and at the end of the day if its easy to use you'll use it more often and get better footage/shots.

      But this comes with the grip. And holds the GoPro if you have one already. Wouldn’t shots be better at this price range?

        If you have a Gopro already then it might be worthwhile. I just meant if you are looking for a new drone there are far better options.

      I unfortunately missed it i would have bought it 100% for $499 if i saw it at that price even though ive done next to no research on it and know basicslly eveything there is to know about dji drones haha
