  • wow…ticks all the boxes. Pretty temped however.

Don't think it will be much of an upgrade for my mate 10 or my back up LG V30+

Only issue is your Donald might kill your Mate 10 soon :)

Yeah, no. They've stated that's not happening. Stop spreading misinformation.

        • Who are 'they'? Surely, you don't mean delusional idiots in Beijing.

@[Deactivated]: It's already been announced that the Mate 10 will be upgraded to Android Q and will continue to have access to Google services. What impact it will have on unreleased devices after August 19 is less clear.

          • @[Deactivated]: Hmm. How about Google? You know, the makers of the software that powers the Huawei phones.

    • Your backup is good enough to use for next 2 years.

V30 is better than this HK stock anyday

  • How does this compare to the Nokia 7plus?

This is 1.1 Nokias above the 7. Unsure how to convert the + sorry.

      • This is 1.1 Nokias above the 7. Unsure how to convert the + sorry.

If had asked for the difference between the two, your answer may be valid…

        Do you see the difference?

I got the mi 9 SE during eBay play sales $403 delivered 6gb ram / 128gb rom Snapdragon 712, has all these features minus headphone jack but included adaptor

  • I've had mine since late Jan and it doesn't have face unlock, it never has had it.

Also its touted as Android One, but the security patches rarely arrive at the start of the month, its the 27th today, and I'm yet to receive the June patch, HMD need to improve their timeliness.

It doesn't have gorilla glass 5 either, its got NEG protection.

  • Interesting down grade from the 835 chip used in the original Nokia 8.

Any ideas why this would be? Perhaps comparable performance for considerably better battery life?

  • Bought one…. Anyone got a tracking number yet?
