  I was looking at the toshiba c640 deal on dicksmith for $390. But these specs are alot better for $150 more (after Amex cash back)… Was considering the lenovo deal (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/46565) too, but this seems to be more suited for what I need!

  Dam it! I just bought a laptop form the good guys last night!!!. Same specs but toshiba model and i paid $770 =\ . +1 from me (I wish i didn't rush into buying a laptop )

  Hi guys,

  I just purchased this laptop thanks for taking the time to let me know your thoughts on the specs and quality. I happened to get 10% off it as the local store had a promo (which makes the 1TB portable hard drive also drop to $90 - will be buying that one on Monday). So the laptop cost me $630.00 cash sale.

  They also price matched a 32 inch HD TV (Hi Sense brand)with JB for me for $299.

  Am very happy with my purchase and once again their service was great. If anyone needs to see an invoice for the $630 purchase please let me know and if you do, can you also please let me know how to upload a scan image on this forum if you'd like me to do that.

  i've had this laptop for almost a year now (paid almost double from OW $1365 with $169 cashback)

  it's been great.. battery lasts 5-6hrs max not the quoted 8hrs
