I read the news today…not so sure is it true, that Alienware co-founder is leaving Dell to 'grow the gaming industry' elsewhere.
if is it true, i would like to sell my Alienware tho.

i bought my Alienware many years already, but i really want to trade my laptop with someone else.
im looking for budget-wise gaming laptop (please no more Alienware) not heavy and lighter, since i graduated in couple months.

it might be no value at all …besides … i really want to trade my laptop and get a new MSI laptop…so bad….the current one i have just too pricy that my parent would not allow me to buy a new one, tats the main reason i really want to trade my Alienware…

Perhaps Op thinks the Alienware founder designed and built Op's laptop all by himself in his own garage. It's time for him to realise Alienware is just another Dell brand, mass produced at an ODM in China alongside other Dell laptops and desktops, with the only difference being gaming focused aesthetics and higher-spec hardware.
i think thats the facts and here is the true story…cz i did cell my Iphone and my parents bought the Samsung noted instead
BTW I totally agree with what you are doing. Get rid of it while you can. Since the founder is leaving there is no real value in Alienware laptops any more and I've seen few listings already where people are selling their 6 month old as-new Alienware machines for $100 or so.
I'm interested in yours and happy to get that POS off your hands so you don't have to stress about it any more…PM me for the BEST deal before it is too late ;)

a 5 year old laptop is close to worthless, you wouldnt be able to trade it in for a big mac let alone a new notebook, maybe give it away to a non profit.
