    • Postage fixed.Thanks

  • Not much of a deal when you can get 10 AA alkaline batteries from Woolies for $5.50 https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/262173/cheā€¦

When you cart 10 of these packs of batteries, postage shoots up to $80. Yeah nah.

    • -3

Postage is set by the third party software. It should not be that high, it should go with weight in that case. $8.5 is the max for 10 pack.

Cheap, imported no-name batteries are a good way to permanently root your electronic devices with leakage

I won't use Alkalines at all anymore, even Energizer & Duracell leak these days, had to fix a couple remote controls & wireless mouse due to battery leaks..

      Eneloop/Amazon rechargies FTW!

How is this a deal when I can go to Bunnings and buy a pack of 30 Germany made batteries for $10?

    • -5

Pack of 4 is different from box of 30.

      • +2

You're right. You're absolutely correct. A pack of 4 only gets me 4. A box of 30 gets me 30. At the current price of 4 of your batteries (and shipping) I could get 12 batteries from Bunnings.

    • Bulk packs are always cheaper per unit.

      • +1

Is this a better comparison? $1.95 for a pack of 4. Am I still on ozbargain or ozadvertisement? Lol

      • Depends on the capacity I guess. I've never seen any non rechargeable battery manufacturer actually state the capacity, so it's something going for this 'bargain'.

I've also never heard of Winpowa, so it's anybodies guess until actual tests are done.

What I should have said was 'Bulk packs of ANY PRODUCT are always cheaper per unit'. Meaning that comparing to a pack of 30 was not a fair comparison. So yes, your last one is.

    Cheaper/better elsewhere..

    Commented to downvote deal..

  • The delivery is good value, not so much the batteries.

    Can I just order delivery?
