Their trade in value for Fallout76 is $3. These rippers still making triple the amount on game which no one want.

      Or losing $3…

  • Soon, they will pay us to play this game.

  • Isn’t this a dupe? My boyfriend bought this last week from the deal that’s been posted on here.

    • That deal expired and is not avaliable

It's good for people with no debit/credit/paypal (or have crap internet) to buy hardware or games. EB also employs over 5000 people. Let them go bust huh?

I don't run the business - eb managers do- as so many people have posted here the staff are increasingly rude and unhelpful -the current price match policy is a joke and clearly the business model has changed because of the proliferation of addons and bilia in the stores to generate profits. Its management have gone for diversification at the expense of its core business service quality so all the eb fans buying their trump mugs there will keep em in business for years to come I'm sure.

Business appeals to what consumers are asking for, and that is bad? With developers, publishers, and console manufacturer's pushing for digital services they are trying to give people a reason to visit their stores, just selling games isn't enough or GAME would still be around.

@FabMan: and being rude is helpful to the core business? operating false and misleading policies is good for the core business?
its not the diversification that's the problem, and since I never said that it was, you already know that but feel free to make up stuff like a good trumpetto

            • @petry: "At the expense of its core business service quality", do you want a tissue?

              • -1

@FabMan: its simplistically known as robbing peter to pay paul - does that help you better understand what I wrote trumpette?

                • +1

@petry: Why are you so sad about this, does it keep you up at night? I'm not even sure what a Trumpette is, I searched and it is a baby socks company, are you giving me cute names because you are feeling fresh?

Not bad for FC 5. Still holding out for New Dawn to dip below $20.

I bought Fallout 76 a week ago. I have been enjoying the game. I expect a lot of hatred is from day 1 feedback and dudes who haven't even played the game.

    • +2

Then that’s all that matters. While the dislike for this game is probably justified, most that are hating on it probably haven’t played it and are just doing it coz hating is the hip thing to do.

Me too! Have been playing with some buddies and having heaps of fun. Completely thought I was throwing away $9, but have already put 24 hours into it and not at all sorry

    • I was one of the people who pre-ordered and was disappointed. With the updates and effort they have been putting in, I decided to pick it up again last week, and I am officially hooked.

    HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAA

So we get paid $9 to play Fallout 76 and $19 to play Farcry 5?

    It's not enough

  • Prices now updated to $7.20 and $15.20 with pickup with new ebay code

    To EBGames

  • I got this deal on 76 because my boyfriend played the free weekend recently and encouraged me to get it so we could play together. I saw this deal and thought, why not for 9 bucks; I heard the crap reviews and didn't have high hopes at ALL. And i'm not a fallout player so, didn't know what to expect.

To my surprise I'm having a ball, there's way more people in game than I thought, it's super engaging, you can even build your own shelter, haha. I've been playing it for 2 weeks almost and am really really enjoying it. I think it must be different to launch? In any case it's way way better now than launch. The world itself is beautiful, almost flawless looking, each main area is unique, it's fun to just explore it at your leisure. The amount of detail on it even on PS4 kinda boggles my mind. I've been playing 2 weeks and I haven't even explored half the places on the map. There are so many places to go. My advice to new players is to stick past level 10 if you can, Flatwoods isn't that interesting a place, but it starts kicking up in intensity when you hit Morgantown and then Charleston for me.

It's not perfect— it has a really steep learning curve for people not used to Fallout games (me), the game is buggy at times and inventory management is to be desired, the UI in general needs some QOL improvements, but despite that i'm having a lot of fun. Also there are aren't cut scenes really, the NPCs mostly interact with you in holotapes (but there will be an expansion later this year that will change that apparently). That does make the game feel a bit cheap at times, because you're always on a computer or something to progress quests. Still, if you take the time to read the lore, it's super detailed, and its obvious they took their time with the lore and surroundings.
