Optimum Electric Mandoline Slicer (Vegetable Dicer / Slicer / Shredder) $130 Delivered (Normally $165) @ Froothie

90
FB35OFF

It slices! It dices! Actually that's pretty much all it does…

Use code FB35OFF to bring the price down to $130 (works on anything from the froothie.com.au website).

Cheapest elsewhere is $159 on ebay.

I decided I was sick of cutting potatoes and vegetables into cubes to put into casseroles etc, and thought "there must be a gadget for this". Lots of things that slice and shred but this was the only gadget I could find that would also cut veggies into cubes. Finished my research last night. This morning, Facebook ads offered up at $20 coupon code, FB20OFF. Figured I could play around with the numbers, and found a $35 discount seemed to be the highest available.

Don't forget cashrewards of 3.5%

  • does it grate? I need a better way to grate some carrots and probably cheese but grating carrots is hard business.

I can chop/slice/cube/dice 100 kg of potatoes/pumpkins/vegetables whatever but grating anything to make a decent amount takes forever.

    • It juliennes which might be similar enough to grating for your purposes.

Have you looked into a spiral slicer, or an electric drum grater?

Something like this would do: https://m.catch.com.au/product/2-in-1-frozen-fruit-dessert-m…

    • I got one of these few years back, think it was about $50 at the time.
Handy gadget, use it to grate veggies, cheese, juice fruits and the grinder to make bread crumbs. Only thing I haven't tried on it is mincing meat or sausage making.

No idea if still available anywhere though…

      • Thanks all will look into the above recommendations.

Yeah mainly looking for an easier way to do batch grating as chopping and slicing is easy enough honestly but grating is time consuming and more tricky.
