  • 280mm is huge.

I recently upgraded my video card with a kraken g12, and needed the similar cooler to this. i settled for a corsair 105 refurbished off ebay for under $100. Works like a charm, knocked 25 degrees off the card, maxes out at 58 degrees now.

360mm is huge. 280 is the nice middle ground. I have an x62 on my 2700x o/c to 4.25all-core and it sits in the at about 40-45 in gaming.

Also, CAMs is a piece of trash. wouldn't have bought the x62 if I had known how bad the software was before i bought it

      • i stand corrected

    • yeah i went from 240 to 280 and its a nice size

      360 is redic tho

  • Gutted, been waiting months for this to go on sale and finally crumbled and bought it 2 weeks ago.

I hear CAM is trash but I think people are getting good results bypassing CAM and using the mobo headers to drive the fans and using Cam only to initially set the RGB.

NZXT are int he process of rebuilding CAM from the ground up so fingers crossed for some better software soon.

Might i suggest listing this bargain under computers rather than electronics

  • I'd recommend a corsair aio over this, but if you neeed the infinity mirror rgb it's a good price.

Why? Aren't they both made by Asetek and differ little internally?

      • Well, the corsair is cheaper.

        • Link?

  • I recently watched a Linus video essentially saying a decent air cooler like the Noctua D15 equals or outperforms almost all AIO coolers. Still, I realise AIO is necessary for low clearance cases, or RAM with high profiles.

I just dont want anything full of liquir that will fail at some point in my computer.
