Was looking for some noise cancelling headphones but didn’t want to spend a lot. There are some really good reviews online and these are almost half price at the moment. I think worth a try …. they should be able to block most of the noise on the train.

FYI it won't block the noise of those pesky school kids or other random increases in volume/pitch/etc. If you want to block the noise OF the train then that might work.
You're probably better off getting IEMs with foam tips for noise isolation rather than noise cancelling.
