    Is this not RRP?

The previous Coles deal was 135.

    • Coles Belong deal looks ok for unlimited txt & calls & 1GB data. Pay $20 for $40 prepaid sim. Then use it at $10 a month, gives you 4 months total. Bonus being on the Telstra network.
      Edit: Also available from Officeworks.

Regular price unless you think a free $2 Sim card is a deal when you have to spend $150 to get it.

    • +5

you think a free $2 Sim card is a deal

      58% do so far and 42% don't. It's a bit like the last election….

  • +3

    This is RRP

  • +5

Yeah this isn’t really a deal, just normal price. Same thing for $135 previously was a deal.

  • +5

That's the retail price. No deal here. Same price on Boost website. Cheaper via cash rewards.

  • $2 saving only

  • +1

Telstra has 200gig for 300 until July 8.

  • +2

Do we get Cash Reward for buying this $150 plan? According to the website it dose not? https://www.cashrewards.com.au/boost-mobile

  • normal price. At best a free $2 sim card

    • +1

wait hold on, so the $150 purchase from the official boost website DOES NOT come with a sim card?

      • +1

pretty sure its just a recharge code
i bought the same thing via the coles self checkout, its just a recharge voucher

        • ahhh doh, that means I have to make a trip to coles just to get the sim card :(

          • @Homr: I got mine at Officeworks for 5 cents on clearance.

            • @jv: I got a couple of $2 sims from Officeworks for 5c but couldn't used them as porting from Telstra requires a blank sim to be posted to you.

              • +1

                @GCSteve:

porting from Telstra requires a blank sim

Can you just use liquid paper ?

          • +2

@Homr: The $2 sim from coles can only be used if porting from a non-Telstra sim.
If porting from Telstra you need a "blank" sim not the $2 sim.

        • +3

Just an update, the $150 from boost website DOES include a sim card :)

  • +1

This is available any day at Coles from Self Checkout "Other Options". This is not a deal but ongoing Pricing of the Boost 80GB annual plan.

  • This was a real deal!

  • It’s not a bargain because it’s rrp unless you count the ‘$2 Sim Card Discount’

    • wait hold on, so the $150 purchase from the official boost website DOES NOT come with a sim card?

  • +3

If you have coles gc discounts you can get this for 5% off.

    • I'm happy I'm getting 5% off better than peanuts .lol

    • Just a word of warning, when I bought my $135 deal, the checkout person said no SIM card purchases with Coles GC, so YMMV

      • +1

I bought it with Coles GC using the self checkout without issues.

        • +2

using the self checkout without issues.

You're lucky then. At our Coles, all the checkouts have issues…

          • @jv: Same here, it didn’t allow using GC to pay SIM card.

      • I bought mine with a Coles gift card.

Think it just depends on the checkout person. If you tell them to put it through, it should work.

      • Simple. Pay for the recharge voucher with the gift card and pay for the free SIM card with cash.

  • +2

Nice that regular prices are looking like deals now.
    The previous deal was $135.
Normal price on Boost website is also $150.

    • +1

The special is the "free $2 sim"

      • +2

Yes, Free $2 sim with $150 recharge would be a more accurate Deal heading

  • my local coles not selling 150 recharge at all.

    • I think you can check with a cashier, they can select it from the screen and it prints out the voucher code on the receipt.

      • -2

I think you can check with a cashier

        No.

Cash or Credit Card is fine, but not check.

  • Bought this when last on sale at $135 (then an extra 5% off via gc)
This is RRP. Not a deal.

    • +1

      This is RRP.

      free $2 sim.

      • Free sim wasn't noted in the old title…
I got a free SIM when it was on sale for $135 ;)
Probably the worst 'bargain' I've ever seen posted.

  • +3

    LOL

    #AntiBargain

1.3% saving for the free sim…

  • If this was a deal it would have "SAVE X$" in yellow underneath the price like all the other products on the page.

    • +1

It’s a Bunnings Catalogue type “Special”

  • -1

It's not cheaper elsewhere right now tho is it?

    • +1

      It's not more expensive either…

  • How can RRP be a deal?
Saying it's back when it never went away is farcical…

  • I'm just commenting so I can neg the deal. I paid $135 last time.. this is no deal.

    • this is no deal.

Every someone says that I imagine Andrew O'Keefe looking into the camera and crossing his arms while saying it.

      • +1

        🙅🏻‍♂️

  • Can anyone advise: on Wednesday coles has the Boost $30 sim pack 20GB + 15GB bonus on recharge for only $15… So if I buy this and then recharge for $150 within the 28day period will the data allowance rollover? Effectively giving 35GB + 80GB = 115GB for $165 for 13months? Other option on sale at coles is the $40 boost sim pack for $20 with 30GB + 15GB bonus giving 125GB for $170 for 13 months? Will this strategy work?

  • Coles deal may have expired but it's still the same price at Boost and also includes free postage so even better deal :)
