  • saw this at Costco today, didnt see the price
I got the sc2 deluxe there today for 169

  • How much water does this leave on the floor? Is it really safe for floating floor boards?

    Still not worth it.

$40 for a decent mop and bucket with squeezer.

It'll do a better job than something you'll pay over $275 for. I bet the consumable brush head isn't cheap either.

  • I was going to get this a few months ago, i believe the reviews mustnt have been convincing if i didnt. If my memory is right it just simply doesnt do a good job

  • Looks like a good concept, but mixed reviews.

      Edit: TGG finally restocked

    • Will not be disappointed

      • How good is it on glossy porcelain tiles?

    OMG: https://2ecffd01e1ab3e9383f0-07db7b9624bbdf022e3b5395236d5cf…
roll it around the toilet where its infested with sh*t and then proceed to clean your entire house using the same roller :O
who the hell does this? it's up there with people who place cotton mats on toilet seats

How tf do you go to the toilet to infest your bathroom with sh*t?

      • +2

You've taken the comment literally, but overshopper is right… unlike a mop and bucket with disinfectant, you will spread fecal matter and urine all around your house with this thing. Horrible idea.

        • +2

Did you look at the pic? It's only used on the floor. Don't know about you but my family doesn't shit on the floor

@justtoreply: Yeah you do… everyone does.

What do you think you are smelling when you defecate? Faecal particles in the air. Where do you think they land?
When you flush, what do you think happens with that aerated water? Where do you think that dirty water lands?
            Do you have kids?
Have you ever put one drop out of the toilet?

In bathrooms where you shower and groom yourself. What do you think you are leaving behind? Dead skin cells, bacteria, dirty clothes (what do you think cause the smell in dirty clothes?)

The bathroom floor is one of dirtiest surfaces in the house.

I'm not a germophobe, I'm not scared of germs. But I'm aware of where in the house there are always high concentrations…. and I dry not to spread them to other areas of the house- common areas like food preparation areas and lounge rooms.

You need to get real on hygiene instead of trying to insult people. The above device will simply spread bacteria and germs everywhere. A mop when rinsed properly in a bucket, won't.

And since you seem to not know these basic hygiene facts, it pays to clean common areas first THEN the bathrooms, THEN the toilets for the exact same reasons.

            • @UFO: So what's stopping you from using disinfectant with this thing?

              • @NoApostrophePlurals: It can't be rinsed. Unless you want to take off the roller and wash it by hand every time you want to do that.

But I digress. I'm giving cleaning tips to people who obviously don't care and seem to have more dollars than sense.

Go for it guys… buy this overpriced junk. It's awesome!

                • @UFO: Mate, get off your judgey high horse. Two short questions were asked, first one tongue in cheek and the second one a general curiosity question and you paint a broad stroke of people thinking they don't care about hygiene and assume they have lots of money and low intelligence.

I never said I'd waste my money on this. Take your own advice as you're the one who needs to get real instead of insulting people.

    • Classy hydronic towel rail on that picture.
