First time poster. Came across this 12hr deal and could be interesting to anyone who was looking for something at Harvey Norman but was just out of their price range. No specific item prices are mentioned and there looks to be some exclusions but I think its still worth checking out.

Went in this morning and there wasn't any signage, they were open from 8am at (Mt Gravatt, QLD) store but when I asked about the sale, the guy said it was UP TO 30%, so the 1tb portable WD HDD was $144 (with 10% off). Not amazing sales, the still had the 1tb samsung s2 for $98 which is pretty good value.
Can anyone confirm whether these special sale periods have some prices jacked up,then reduced during sale period to become of a no discount sale?
they dont jack up, but in these sale periods, they put the pricetag back to RRP instead of discount over their normal pricetag. Hence either way, HN is not a good place to shop unless you really know your prices
They do jack up their prices. They jack them up all year long. Their jacked up prices are called RRP. :p
laptop notebook are 15% off as i know.
anyone know if the 249 dollar will have 15% off further?
HN runs these types of XX hours 'sale' very often. From past user feedbacks, prices are still very average. Considering it's EOFY season, I think they really should be publishing super specials to compete against their competitors.
Also without any specifics on what's on offer, it is technically not a bargain. Moved to forums.
