isn't the OZB way to get a battery, jumper cables and some wet nipples?

This is a joke for those stupid enough to try….

  • Would anyone know if this type of AED would be suitable for people travelling (e.g. in a Caravan or RV)?
Do you have to constantly power or regularly charge the AED if it's not used?

    • +2

This unit is definitely suitable for travelling weighing only 1.1kg, and very small for easy storage in a caravan or RV. The unit is powered by an internal battery pack and does not need charging at all. The unit can withstand standby temperatures of 0°C to 50°C and Temporary Transportation Temperatures of –10°C to 50°C for up to 2 days.

      • Thanks - I wonder how hot it gets inside a vehicle just sitting in the sun (in far northern Australia in particular)

Hmm - just looked at some online calculators and they reckon with an outside temp of 35°C the inside temp of a car after 60 mins is 60°C

These things should be in every public building as well as subsidized by Medicare for anyone over 50. They save lives when used in emergencies
