Skylanders Figures $1 ea (In Store Only) or 5 Figures for $10 (Online) @ EB Games

190

Went in today with my 3yr old that loves the special toys as he calls them (Skylanders and Disney Infinity figures) to get a couple and discovered they are all $1 each. Needless to say we walked out with around 25 of them and him nearly wetting himself with excitement. Lucky he didnt or EBs carpet would have suffered..
Would guess most stores are like mine and they just have a box full of the figures. Easily still over 50 at our local (Jesmond).

Online are still listed as 5 for $10 which isnt a terrible deal in itself.

My 3 year old loves these things too. I still had 15 or so Disney Infinity figures from the clearance days. Finally plugged the thing in and showed her Spidey popping up in the game from the toy and she was pretty psyched for about 5 minutes before just ripping the thing off and playing with the toys again.

I'd have shit my pants if you showed me a toy popping up in the TV when I was 3.

    • Not sure a Duke Nukem toys to life franchise would be appropriate for 3 year Olds ๐Ÿ˜

Hopefully the color paint is not toxic, cause you know, they are all made in China.

Like every other toy, and, you know, almost everything we own…

  • Surely EB should just have a box of these out the front with โ€œfreeโ€ written on them…

    +1 for the description!

Anyway, we still have a crate of these things. And I think the Trap team Santa present is still in it's case, played once, if I remember correctly. Holy !#$!$%, when I think about the amount of money we pissed away on these things.

Same here - have a giant box full of 'em.

But my kid played with these things for a fairly solid 5 years. Both on xbox and as little action figures. I'd be hard pressed to think of another (non-Lego) toy that kept interest up for more than a year. Money well spent, I think.

But I'm not going to add it all up.
