I think it should be emphasized that you get 1000 yen of store credit, not cash.

So spend 5000 yen, you get 1000 yen store credit, in other words it's like 16.7% off(buy 6000 yen worth of stuff for 5000)

500 extra points normally offered for a purchase over 5,000yen won't be offered to orders applicable for this offer.

You normally get 500 points when you spend 5000 yen, so this offer is just an addition 500 points store credit(~$6).

  • Yes on my trips to Japan I didn't find their cd/dvd's to be that cheap, not compared to amazon. Good for hd audio disks or rockstar cats, most of the anime I bought doesnt have English subs.

  • My experience with buying from CD Japan is that you buy for the quality of the product that they are offering. In particular the SHM-CD and SMH-SACDs are excellent if you have equally good equipment. Yes, discs in Japan are not cheap compared to Amazon, but for special albums, I believe they represent value for money.
