1.5% Cashback on Gift Cards (eBay, Uber and More), Satchels / Postcards at Auspost via ShopBack or Cashrewards

301

I’m not sure how many fellow Ozbargainers are aware of the regular cashback for Auspost gift cards via Shopback, so I’ve decided to post. Not just Ebay and Uber, but other useful ones, such as Mitre 10. They are physical cards with free delivery.

Update: Thanks to Clear, the deal at Cashrewards is a little better. Cashrewards Link 1.6% Expired, now 1.5% also.

    1.5%? Hardly seems worth it.

Agree if 5.1 then I will bite

If you're shopping there regardless, it's not that much harder to activate cashback and purchase via gift cards.

        Do you even OzBargain?

        • is there a gift card for $6.95

          • @capslock janitor: Do you buy your milk one glass at a time? Way to dig up a dead thread!

            • -1

@tromboc: Who buys a glass of milk?
Regardless, not regularly. Rather spend what I need and not have a balance.

              There's no digging.
It's on the top of store page.

@miq you must be rich. Others here need to make every dollar stretch as far as they can, even if it is just an extra 1.5%

      • Even I can offer 5%…

  • Is it 15% ?

    • Thanks! I’ve edited the post.

You can regularly get 10% off Uber gift cards at Woolworths and they have even had two lots of 1000 points per $50 of eBay gift cards purchased this year. I suppose this is worth it if you're spending the Max amount of $1600 on something as you would get nearly $25 cashback on that.

What SB behind on something !

Bet it won’t be long .

  • Does this include union pay or visa gift cards?

I stock up on prepaid satchels, envelopes etc when I need to meet minimum spends on eBay sales. Always 5-10% off this way.

Also save packaging you receive. It's surprising how often envelopes haven't been stamped and are valid to reuse.

  • So looks like you can order a $100000 ebay card, it gets sent to you, and you get a cool $1600 cashback!

Always easy to make money when you got tons of it

ShopBack customer service is appalling and any serious $$ shopping is for random reasons declined!! Use CR instead.

    • -1

So you neg to say use CR instead of SB . No clue Joe everyone would have done that with them having a higher % once in their lives :)

      • -3

Deal was updated post my comment to include CR

        • -1

Nope. It was updated before you commented, after Clear’s comment above.

  • I use both

    new to shopback though.

Been with CR for most years

  • When can i withdraw my balance? There is $42 processed from orders last week but $0 for available.

    • You'll need to wait until it becomes 'Available rewards'. It can take up to a few months to be approved.

Should note in OP that Australia Post takes forever to send these physical gift cards. Don't buy it if you want to use it within the week!

    • Experienced the same. I bought a gift card and some stamps.

I received the gift card after 12 days and the stamps after 14 days :/

    • And remember that they hardly ever load the cards or activate them. I'm still struggling to get the last ones to work.
