  I bought these a few months back. Took like 2 hours to setup and seemed to be lucky if finally connected in the app. It’s setup is same as other smart things - connect to its adhoc wifi, register in app and give it your wifi network and password and it should be fine. Only it mostly wasn’t.
  Now it’s working it’s fine. I have mine on timer with party lights and nice to be able to turn off whenever I want.
  But would recommend getting a different brand with better setup.

    Setup is easy and no different to other 'Smart life' app plugs. Mine connected first go and in 1 minute, it's done.

    It's Tuya rebranded, sometimes the Apps itself craps on server side and you can't do anything. Interesting tidbits, you can use Kogan Smarterhome App to control this since it's also Tuya-based and when Tuya server dies, even Kogan's App dies.
