    Despite saying it was going to be available for 24h, the discount already ended before I could actually buy one :(

      I think its back

      • Thanks a lot! :D got one.

  • It's now $538. Seems to be lightning deal/limited sale quantity.

    Too bad it's still illegal to use on public road in NSW.

    • Im wondering why jbhifi is selling escooter. I hope NSW gov make it legal.

  • Great scooter
    We have a couple of the es4’s in the office

  • How is this Vs Xiaomi m365?

    • +2

      Xiaomi M365 is better

      • +1

        I have test ridden both and bought the M365. I prefer it's rigidity and hand brake.

        After 400km (daily commuter) I've modded the firmware to get a little more power out of it. I am happy to keep the tyres pumped up, but t you'll need a half decent bike pump with pressure gauge. An Aldi works great

    • you don't have to worry much about flat tyre on a ES2;
      better folding;
      better look (i reckon);
      yet the breaking system is not as efficient as the one of M365

  • Does cash rewards take another 10% off for this as it is under sporting

    Can confirm 10% cashback on this deal at the moment :) Got this deal this morning, and my Cashback confirmation email just came through with $53.80 cashback.

    • Got one 🍻
      Thanks Justin2018, bought one and today got the same email confirmation as well.
      What a bargain for this scooter.

  • I would wait for a fibre-reinforced polymer version; hopefully they can get it under 6kg with better shock absorbing capabilities.

    The range also needs to increase to at least 100km, so it does not need recharge too often.

    • Does it also need a built in coffee machine?

      • A matter of time they make it in FRP (just like everything else that has been made; planes, bikes etc). You can then literally lift it on your fingertips.

        • +1

          You can't make lithium batteries out of fibre polymer

  • Can this be used on the footpath in nsw ?

    • Not legally

  • +1

    Unfortunately not legal in Vic for use on public property as it is over 200w and max speed is over 10ks. $825 fine. https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/safety-and-road-rules/road-r… Just had to cancel my order.
