Amazon Prime Day Camera Bargains?

Hey guys,

Since the prime day is upon us,
Just wondering if anyone knows of a good camera similar to the m50 for my partner who is looking to start photography as a hobby.

I personally like the m50 and think it would be ideal but looking for a cheaper alternative just because she is not sure if it will be a long term investment as she gets bored easy.
She wants it to be touchscreen and have a screen that can rotate to be viewed for selfies.

Any help on the matter would be marvellous!

    Sony's a6x00 series are worth looking into (check the flippability). Keep in mind this and the olympus can swap out lenses. The one you've linked doesn't have that much "reach" so you may end investing in a zoom lens. As far as I'm aware the touchscreens on cameras are pretty limited. My sony camera is basically just for selecting an area to focus on..

      Yeah that's what I think the touchscreen would be useful for, to be able to specifically focus on something in frame

        There is an alternative. You can remap a button to focus hold. What this means is the focus spot will be default(middle) then reposition and when you click the shutter it won't autofocus.

    Unfortunately it looks like there aren't many camera deals this time around.
    I was holding out for the G7X Mk2 but it looks like nothing will pop up :(
