USB-A to USB-C won't PD Fast Charge the Switch mate.

  • What's the corresponding voltage (as in what's the energy capacity)?

    • This is much better quality

      • Anker or romoss? And why? Spec wise romoss seems better.

        • The anker build quality. I own both. Not fussed on specs as I don't have a switch or ultrabook.

You want USB-C for charging the Nintendo Switch. Ideally USB-C PD, but regular USB-C would be ok too (just slower).

USB-A will still work at extending your playing time, but it won’t charge fast enough to actually increase the battery level in all cases (eg. if the Switch battery drain is greater than what the powerbank is supplying to the Switch).

USB-C PD will supply the Switch with up to 18W max
USB-C will supply the Switch with up to 10W max
USB-A will supply the Switch with up to 7.5W max

For reference, the maximum battery drain of the Switch is around 8.9W under high loads.

    • What about a 12.9 iPad Pro 2018 cellular model?

      • USB-C PD for that as well.

  • This is a beast
