  • Any discount on batteries?

    • Which batteries you after?

Know the prices before you buy. I went to look at Gitzo tripods and the prices are jacked so much that the discount makes it comparable to other retailers.

E.g. gitzo traveler 0 series is said to be rrp $1800 on their website when other retailers are $1300. I didnt bother looking at anything else after.

  • Thanks for posting this! Some pretty decent prices on there with the 20% discount. I also have the capture clip v3 and it’s awesome for hiking with a mirrorless camera

  • Friends, are any of the bags at a decent price? From what I can tell none of the lenses are particularly cheap.

    • Can't comment on price, but F-stop backpacks are the most comfortable backpack I ever use. Peak design got the best after sales support. Billingham bags look classic. Thinktank bags is designed for photographers.

  • Thanks for the heads up. I have been searching for a suitable camera backpack for months and I can't find anything I like. I'm heading to Switzerland in October for a photography trip and we're planning to do landscape and some astrophotography. So I imagine there are some hill walking and/or hiking to do and therefore need something light.

The F-Stop bags are incredibly light but they don't do much other than the ICU system and I plan to use the bag after the trip. There is no laptop carrying system (basically requiring you to use a sleeve). There is not even minimal padding at all which means the bag is strictly a hiking photo backpack.

What does others think of the Mindshift Backlight backpack? I know they look like they're stuck in the 90s. I also checked the Lowepro range and really like the Protactic range but the 350 AW II already weighs 2.2KG without anything in it yet.

    • I am not sure about other model, but I have owned F-stop tilopa and a large ICU pro. There is a laptop compartment in the bag. I also like the idea of ICU which give you a lot of freedom to put your photography gear or personal belonging.

      • Thanks tyb1987, unfortunately the Tilopa is too big for my needs (or for regular use after the trip).

        • Then mindshift backlight might suit you better. They are owned by Thinktank, which is one of my favourite camera bag supplier too.

  • Anyone spotted any good Fuji deals to be used in combination with the cashback? I'm probably gonna go look myself regardless…

  • +1

Tamron 28-75mm is at good price. Will go well with your new Sony a7r iv.

  • Don’t forget the Fuji cash back!

  • Is it normal that they add tax afterwards for their items? Some of the accessories don't seem like deals when they add back the tax in checkout…

  • Im so butt hurt i missed this… will it be back?
