It's like an exclusive club for the ones who are willing to do the research.
I guess we live in a time where people want instant rewards without doing any work

Dam nox playing up! Anyone got alternative methods they can share?

    • Android with Mocklation.

    • I had the same issue. Upgrade to NOX android 7. Android 5 no longer works for me.

      • I just updated java and fiddled with some resource settings within NOX and got it to work after a reboot :)

pm me and I'll lock it in for you.

      • Just did it

        • +1

Will need more than just a 'hello' in your your message if you want me to lock in the price for you. :)

          • +2

@yolow: Don't bother helping and risking your accounting being locked. 7/11 staff I am sure are amongst us.

          • @yolow: lol

  • Back to $1.479 for me

  • -3

it was 1.29 at Rockbank too

    • Not for U98. That's the price for U91 … at Rockbank VIC. U98 is 147.9 at Rockbank

  • Back to 147.9
Edit: Nevermind, I had to put the location market EXACTLY on Hoppers Crossing, as it decided that there were a few petrol stations closer than Hoppers Crossing when I put the marker by hand.

Just locked, worked for me. No mock location i am @ hoppers crossing

  • Just locked in 129.9 for 98+, confirmed still working as off 4:40pm AEST

  • Locked in, Thanks OP :)

60 km round trip there and back. Car fuel consumption = 15L/100km = 9L fuel used to get there and back. That's $11.70 that I'd have to save just to break even.

    • What do you drive, a tank??

      • Anything that uses 98 RON petrol is going to be thirsty. Most vehicles that require it have V8s or other high performance engines. Anyway, even if I achieved say, 12.5L/100km, that's still about $10 just to break even.

        • +1

Nah not the case, get 7l/100km in my golf R

      • Guessing by his username a 350/370Z

        • No. And the 370Z only requires 95. As if that old school V6 would need 98! I don't think there is any naturally aspirated V6 that requires 98?

          • @AussieZed: Damn, bad guess. Wouldn't require it out of the box, no. I assume you can flash 98 only maps with an Accessport though.

          • @AussieZed: They do exist, used to own one.

            Available as an Japanese Import:
            1997 Mitsubishi Diamante.
            Had a 3.0l V6 GDI Quad-Cam Non-Turbo engine.
            Required 98 Octane.

            • @Tobias: Interesting. Where does it say that it requires 98? I wouldn't have thought that 98 would be available in 97, even in Japan? In Australia the fuel didn't become available until 2001.

              • @AussieZed: The Mitsubishi dealership mechanics told me as did the sales person when I picked it up.

However, 98 wasn't available at the time so used 95, engine ran okay. It ran rough on 91. Wanted to try 100 octane but couldn't source any.

  • 145.9 now

Too late. Missed it twice including the one yesterday. Probably I need a high yield investment car to be faster on the road locking 11 seven fuel price.

    • Locking fuel prices has nothing to do with driving a fast car, you can spoof the GPS location.

      • +3

you can spoof the GPS location

What? We virtually meet up everytime there's a cheap price.

What are you talking about? Spoofing?
        Why, I never!

        • +4

The only spoof I know of is this individuals outlandish claims! We meet up at our favourite 7/11 and discuss how to be fuel professionals.

  • +4

    Back to 129.9c :)

    • Can confirm the same. Just received a script notification

  • Back to 145.9 again

    • sad……… just missed out
EDIT: no, still working as of 8:50pm.

    • Yep, northern Hoppers Crossing location it's still 129.9. Locked in 9:40pm

  • Just locked in at 129.9c….Thanks!

  • ohhhooooo. finally got it working. shame i work in IT but took so long to get around the ****

  • Still good thanks!

If you're on Android and using the "Fake GPS location" app and having issues finding your location, switch to the "Mocklocation" app and it will work again. Also, the Mocklocation app is alot better since you can search locations, never could search for location on the Fake GPS location app due to them running out of API calls constantly with google maps api.

    • Hi, I can’t find that in Play Store. Is it “Mocklation” instead? Thanks

      • Yup, sorry, misspelled it, mocklation is the one that worked for me

  • It’s back now

  • Up to 144.9 now. Good 12hr period of cheap 98 fuel though!

  • Thanks OP. Locked in just before change!

  • I saw a couple of prices like that on Tuesday on High St Rd on the way to Wantirna. It's down!

ACCC says it's at the lowest point in the cycle now, so GO.
