    Despite the pictures showing the UK board, if it is coming from the USA you are likely to get the USA board

        Ordered on the basis of pics before
        Have played on the UK board so many times, that I know all the rents, and the position of every station
        Now if it says Advance to Boardwalk I have to scratch my head
        Oh well, it will help ward off dementia

      According to the chart further down the page, Amazon say the "classic", is the UK version.

        If you missed what I was trying to say, despite the pictures and description you will get the US version.

        If you are after the UK version check with Amazon before you purchase

      Clearly I should have read this post before ordering!

      As it was Amazon US I specifically checked the photos and description text to confirm it had the UK locations - delivered today and has the US ones.

      Still, after contacting Amazon they've refunded me and said I can keep the item, so not all bad!

        I thought you would get a refund and get to keep it wouldnt be worth it to send back with the cost of shipping. I'm stil waiting for a response.

          I contacted Amazon after this was posted
          told them I had ordered it before and despite the description I got the US version

          they told me by email that it was definitely the UK version

          went ahead and ordered

          it is not so much a refund, now I will have two US versions

        When you say you contacted Amazon, did you fill out the request to return the item due to 'inaccurate website description', or did you contact them another way?

          Emailed them with link to the game, telling them I previously purchased it and got the wrong version
          They replied that they checked and it and it was definitely the UK version

          Have not received it yet.

            @docians: Thanks, but I was referring to craigp72 who got a refund without return after finding his was US version.

            FYI: I only ordered after confirming on the page that it would be UK, and now I've received it and it's US version, so I'm kinda annoyed, but then it's quite the hassle to actually return it.

              Based on the pics
              It ended up being the US version

              They asked for pics
              I sent them the link which showed UK version
              And my box which showed otherwise

              They did refund me, and I got to keep the game

              Disappointed as now it seems I will have two US versions when I wanted the UK one, that too after they emailed saying it will be the UK version

              Yeah, went to the customer service 'contact us' option; tried both online chat and call back but neither worked, so filled in the form to send an email. I think I selected an option along the lines of 'item not as described' and linked to the order, then explained I'd double-checked the descriptions and photos on the item page before ordering.

              I got an email reply in under 4 hours saying they were refunding me and I didn't need to send it back.

    Great game to show that:

    1. Hard work isn't what it's been cut out to be with regards to "getting ahead,"

    2. If you're properly set up you can earn money even while you're in gaol,

    3. If you're broke gaol can actually be a liberation from the grind,

    4. Bankers can get away with lots without anyone knowing,

    5. The heavy end of town always wins.

    It's a pity this game is taken so lightly rather than as a true reflection of where we actually are.

      Most games arrive in a box with plastic bags filled with air to cushion and arrive indented
      On occasion I do receive a dented box esp if I’ve ordered a board game with a card game, and the little box gets stuck

      Btw I’ve contacted customer support and they’ve confirmed it is the UK version
