That's a lot of diabetes for so little money!

They are made in China so who knows what bonus extra you might get…

      • They have been Made in China, for quite some time now!

  • Can anyone confirm their reject store has similar? I'm assuming it's store specific.

    • Usually, all stores have the same price. Stock levels vary though

    • Toombul in QLD did last weekend, not sure how much would be left.

i'm not myself at the moment so these should definitely help with that

Reject Shop have been advertising this in South TAS for the last few weeks.

Just as an FYI, I'm no snickers expert so don't know if this is normal.
They are made in China and to me don't taste quite right, no one in my office thought so. Saying that they are all gone now.

    • They probably half stale too.

      • The chocolate on all of them had bloomed (fat starting to separate) so it does look a little funky.

There was a heap of them at Cheap as Chips a month or so ago, same expiry so likely the same unwanted Chinese stock. They were $10, chocolate had already turned grey.

      • Bought two boxes, both perfectly fine. It was at the Cheap as Chips store in Ballarat, so I'm guessing whatever happened to make some go bad (guessing heat), it wasn't on the way from China to Ballarat.

For $10, it was a no-brainer. Kids shared one box at school for a couple weeks, second box went in carry-on for a long trip to the US. Cheaper than Macca's.

I sure as heck wouldn't be taking 48 snickers bars of questionable quality on any trip where the bathroom was airplane sized.

  • Nice!

They are made in China, Not in Australia.

    They taste different.

Special Snickers Chinese swimming edition; contains trimetazidine.

    • Yes, Snickers production temporarily ceased at Ballarat facility.

      • Why?

        • +3

Well, obviously because not enough trimetazidine in Ballarat…

        • "Equipment upgrade" - or so they say

          • @Plasma: Yeah that was nearly 12 months ago.

Probably good excuse to see if they can get away with selling Chinese chocolate. If so why would they bother with manufacturing in Australia if they can do it cheaper offshore.
I'll stick with Australian food controls/quality. Even if they aren't perfect they are better than those in China.

Perfect gift for the guy that wants to buy his mom a Tesla.

  • This is ideal if you were hanging out in Chadstone and were going to treat yourself to 48 Snickers bars anyway but didn't have a snug box of the right dimensions to put them in.

  • Wow thanks guys! I can get like 2 at the Hoyts candy bar Vs 48 here! Awesome!

  • this sounds more like a race.

    challenge accepted!

I bought a box last week in WA, they taste perfect to me and I am a bit of a Snickers expert, especially now as I only have 3 left :)

Best comment in this thread, thanks for the laugh : )
Someone who ate 45 snickers within a week would classify as a snickers expert in my books.

I would go through a 20 Pack bite size per day.

BIG W was the last known source of Aussie made snickers and i spent $400 and got what they had left. I haven't had a snickers for 2 months now, i still crave them but i think i have quit.

        • Lol : )
Another who would classify as a snickers expert in my books.
Am glad you're managing to get these withdrawals! Heard these snickers addictions can be quite nasty & serious.

  • Thanks, snatched a box at the local. Figured even if I gave them away…
