  • Guess this should work with their gift cards?

  • +4

Just a heads-up that the gift cards can't be used to buy air tickets.

    • i was considering buying that for ticket, thanks for the heads up,

    • Air tickets are part of a hotel + flights package. Does that mean they don't work on packages?

      • +3

you can use them to pay for packages that include airfares.

From their gift card terms and conditions (https://luxuryescapes.com/au/giftcards-terms)
1.2.g. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase airfares, insurance or any other ancillary products or services not included in a featured package.

  • It is online transaction only. Does it mean no split payments?

  • Can you buy multiple gift cards and redeem them on 1 package?

    • +1

yes. you redeem the cards which add credit to your account.

Refer to the previous AMEX/LE offer, sufficient information over there.

Last time this came around, I think there was someone on here who was working on the luxury escapes webpage and was able to add a $300 voucher option. Gotta grab a $250 and a $50 now…

  • Has anyone used LE vs doing their own bookings, and what was your experience?

    • +1

      Very good value

    • Very much dependent on the hotel, particularly if you have status with the hotel. It tends to be the inclusions that tips it into good value territory. I've never done a tour with LE though so dunno if they're good value.

  • What did you end up buying? I have 5 Amex cards, may be somehting around $1500 looks good.

  • which AMEX cards are qualified for these statement deals? e.g. AMEX owned cards or Amex Partner cards such as CPA Amex, David Jones Amex etc…
