      What are original uggs?

We proudly manufacture our UGG boots in Melbourne, Australia and are also Aussie owned.

We are not UGG Australia you are correct. They manufacture their products in China and are U.S owned. We make sure that people know that we are not the same company. Many people think that there is only one UGG boot company in the world which isn't the case.

So which company is "Original" ? The one that actually makes them from quality sheepskin in Australia or the others that manufacture overseas and may have Australia in the name but have nothing to do with Australia?

      • What about those UGG Express shops I see. Do you know about their quality at all (where they're made and whether it's as Aussie as they claim to be)?

        • Also interested to know this.

        • As far as I know Chinese made. A lot of these guys use tricks like "Australian business" "Australian sheepskin" so at a glance looks like its all Aussie when in fact they are not..

      What's your point kirbycario?

      • I believe he/she is trying to point out that it is not the iconic main brand so-called UGG Australia.

Which is what company exactly? The UGG Australia brandname is ironically owned by US company Deckers despite the product having being "invented" in Au-NZ, so your comment is hardly valid wrt "originality". Surely the more important things for Aussie consumers to consider are place of manufacture, material origin, and company ownership?

  • Do your uggs have replaceable insoles?
They are the only ones worth buying imo.

    • All of our rugged pairs have replaceable insoles however once the insoles eventually flatten you can easily fit a new pair of our insoles into essentially any pair of our UGG boots. The only pairs that it may not work with are scuffs due to the way they are made.

  • If the deal included free standard shipping, I would have made a purchase (for future use).
