I doubt the write speed 18MB/s is accurate.
Yeah real life is only around 10MB/s in my experience….
Just got mine. Was pleasantly suprised with the HD Tune Results
However yes I can confirm real life transfer of a large video is sitting around 8.5mb/sec :/

Maybe $21.99 or $23.99 - around that area. The regular 16gb are about $25 on eBay that only get 3MB/s write and 15MB/s read so I think most people here will be happy paying a bit over $20

Not a bad price for Sandisk brand and the write speed. Considering to get one unless rep can do better $/GB on the 16GB version. Would prefer 16GB at this age.
I have the normal Sandisk 8GB and the Ultra 8GB. Normal one is only around 2MB/s, this one seems to do about 10MB/s writing. If you are only putting smallish documents on it and not in big batches then the normal one is fine, but otherwise it's much worth the extra for the Ultra as the transfer times on things like lots of music, movies,etc is alot lower.
Just bought one. May also be interested in a 16gb depending on the price. Thanks OP/Rep.
P.S. Can these drives/designs have a lanyard attached?Yes there is an eyelet on them for a lanyard….
