        A base splits when you use an extremely high heat. Even essteele can split.

        For stainless steel you're meant to use a medium heat only.

      Baccarat is the higher end line -vs- Arcosteel… and Arcosteel is AMAZING value and quality. This deal is literally a no brainer!

      These aren't the highest quality pots you can get but for the price and what's included? Hell… remove the price tag and these are VERY usable!

      This isn't a case of 'It's great for the price', it's just a case of 'It's great!'

      That would be due to user error, not the pans itself. These are stainless pans, not non-stick. I would wager a heft sum, that the user who left that review, did not oil/butter the pan sufficiently.

    I have used these before, the DH never complained.

    +1: I find I have to really coat it with oil and really watch the cooking

    Other than that it was a really good pan I loved using it for everyday cooking. Not super high heat searing stuff.

      The IKEA set is $119 but much better quality. The side of the pots are as thick as the bottom. They are much better to retain heat.

    I actually just opened the same set from a box sitting in the garage from 10 years ago. If these are the same stainless steel handles the bots are pretty useless as you always need a mitten or towel to touch the shorter handles. Get something with silicon handles.

        All stainless steel will have an aluminium base layer, generally 6mm.

        Otherwise the pan would take like 15 minutes to heat up.

    Just got a cancellation email as well :S
    Very unprofessional to not honor the order, take so long to cancel order and then not even bother to process the refunds immediately.
    Moreover as MJ1 pointed out they've further disguised a marketing offer of $10 voucher as an apology coupon on selected useless items with prices jacked is just sad.
    Won't be using them anymore!

    Was also in house yesterday. The warehouse had 1100 available but had over 1200 orders.

    So the stock was clearly available.

    Around 100-200+ orders would have had to wait for further shipment.
