Business Shoes for Flat and Wide Feet

Hi guys,

I would appreciate any recommendations for business shoes, for someone like me who has flat and wide feet.
Shopping for a comfy business shoe for flat and wide feet is quite a pain in the a**.
Unfortunately, i found most shoes to be either too narrow or have a very uncomfortable high arched insole.

Thank you.

I'm flat too but what is the definition of wide? My front (fingers area) is same wide as my middle part.

Church's makes a G width shoe that is just perfect for the moderately flat foot.

I don't think anything is going to be good for super flat feet.

Try Rockport and Hush Puppies - I find they run wider - you may need to change the insole

Either of these brands. Rockport is always my first choice, but I only buy when on sale, so Hush Puppies are the back-up. Mens' business shoes in general are very uncomfortable, glad I don't have to wear them often in my current job.

Buy some RM williams in store.

They will find the right fit for you, and the boots are very high quality (for now)

  • Yeah, it's also a pain in the a** when you don't provide a price range.

If you've got wide-fitting pockets, check out the wide-fitting shoes at Double Monk. You can also ask them about the possibility of having bespoke shoes made for you.

I was going to say Hush puppies but they cancelled my free shoe order.

  • Thanks everyone for the replies. I shall check out some of the links and names provided. As for the price range, i don't have a strict budget. The most important thing is to find a pair or 2 which fits comfortably and will last for a long time. I do agree that, business shoes in general are uncomfortable. Many years ago, Rivers used to make great business shoes , but not now.
