Plans should not be chosen on price but rather on requirement.
Cannot recommend anything if you dont know what your usage is.

Exetel has $8.99 plan that offers 2GB data per month (as above)

Kogan annual small plan prepaid $152 (discounted) works out at $12.50/mth for 7GB.
Kogan annual medium plan prepaid $195 (discounted) works out at $16/mth for 13GB but wasted money if you use less than 7GB

Dont think there is anything better around these prices

  • I like the Aldi yearly plan for $15. Top up as needed. It's I think the best value when you don't use much data

    • Do you turn data off?

Boost mobile 12 nth plan, assuming you have the ability to pay the monthly $ for the year in a single go

    • I signed my son up to the boost $150 for 12 months. Unlimited calls and texts, 80gb of data for the year. 6.66gb month average. You can add more. Telstra network too. Very happy so far.

$11.66 per month over 12 months (5% less if paid with gift cards).

And with full Telstra retail network, VoLTE, VoWifi, free and unmetered sports live passes, unmetered Apple Music, plenty of calls to overseas destinations and 6.67GB per month…

    • This, I'm surprised that this thread was even opened given it's been on the front page.

Well worth the switch, I can't believe how much of a difference volte makes.

    Telstra…?

It works out to be (roughly) $17 per month, for Unlimited Call/SMS with (roughly) 12GB Data of 4G+.
Or more approximately $15.39 per 28 days (1/13 months) for 11.53GB's Data, about $1.33 per GB.

    • Another good option…

  • if you not care about data then Belong…

  • join one of the recent jbhifi Telstra plans for $45 /$65 and sell the 200 gift card / 500 and get a $10 port in discount on top?
