More about the wine:

Story: Meritage is an international term for a Bordeaux blend. This Meritage is made from four of the red varieties grown in the Bordeaux region of France: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

Vintage 2017: Spring and summer were cooler than normal with above average rainfall and the 2017 vintage happened much later than usual. The combination of those factors and dry weather for most of the harvest resulted in higher yields and excellent quality across regions.

Nose: The nose offers attractive, subtle aromas of plums and red berries with a hint of spice adding complexity to the bouquet.

Palate: The palate is smooth and sophisticated with masses of berry and plum flavors, making this a very easy-drinking wine.

Food Pairings: This is a very versatile food wine that will go particularly well with Mediterranean dishes.

Rating: Best Value, Winestate Magazine.

OP - Can you clarify the return process if not satisified with the wine?

T&Cs of sale suggest that while product costs will be refunded (ex-shipping) - one also must return all the wine at our own cost (and risk) to Cellar Door in SA.

As an individual getting the local post office to ship at retail rates (with insurance) would cost a fortune and likely make returning product completely unviable.

    • Hi User5842. Good question. You're quite right. The Policy is there to cover wine of all values from our $295/btl premiums and our discount/entry level wines. Ordinarily in the circumstances where someone is unsatisfied with one of the lower priced and discounted wines, that individual makes contact and we resolve it to their satisfaction outside of those standard T&Cs. At the end of the day whether it is through the provision of a delicious wine or an equitable resolution to a disappointing experience, 100% customer satisfaction is our ultimate prioirty.
      I hope that helps.
      Cheers
      Richard :-)

I opened one of these last night user5842.
There is zero chance you'll be disappointed - the wine is delicious.

This is why I wish they would do mixed cases, so you could try their range then buy more of the ones you like.

I first purchased these wines due to an OzBargain promo. Now that's all I buy. If I hadn't recently bought 3 cases, I'd jump on this!
