Be careful with Buffalo branded USB HDD.
We bought 2 of them [500GB capacity] back in Asia , the USB connector cable is too thin hence lots of data corruption occur. Regardless when its used in PC or laptops.

If you are thinking of getting it, replace it with a proper USB cable.
