It looks like Amazon changing the prices.. i purchased for $219

I've got this one, on it's own it can still be a bit shaky when using higher end wheels but if you've got the room to add the seat to it then you're in for a whole different experience.

I use to have the ultimate V2 with seat

It’s great with a Logitech Wheel setup but the overall build quality as in the finishing is disappointing to my standard and the price in my opinion

I hear the newer version, the Trak I believe it’s called is finished a lot better and is also stronger

    • I bought all of mine second hand for less than $400 (v2 as well and pretty much new/perfect) but I did attach mine to the floor in the garage and find it is faultless with my fanatec setup.

    • I've got that one - Trak Racer FS3 - excellent.

      • I think he's talking about the new GT3 style rig that is made my these guys, sold by Pagnian. It can be used with a motion platform.

Highly recommend stuff from Pagnian's. Had a Thrustmaster that had a faulty cable. Was out of warranty by a month or there abouts and they still replaced the main body with a new one. It was a Santa purchase which was bought say in October before Xmas, so was never used till then. CS had no issues. I do believe the fact that the cable was a known issue that helped the case as well. Haven't tried their stands, but they have alot of good stuff.

This is giving me ideas to modify my $20 step ladder…..

This one still would be a better buy

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-X-FRAME-GT-ART-Racing-Simula…

Look up gt omega apex, the omega apex and gt art are like a rebrand of one another and look exactly the same. You can find video comparing the omega apex to this one and they're just as stable as each other.

Unless you're wanting to upgrade to the full cockpit then there's no reason to get this over the gt art I rekon. Even if you plan on upgrading, there better frames out there.

    • Is the ebay one more stable than the Next Level amazon one?

It looks a bit cheap but I really don't want to pay $275 (Current Amazon price) for the Next Level stand.

Be warned - the pedal position is horrible. Way too close unless you're happy to sit bolt up-right.

    • -1

That's actually a very good point! Think of pedal position in a car and it's quite recessed compared to position of steering wheel. Looking at above picture they are almost lined up, like it would be in a bus or something!

      Thanks for the heads up.

Take a look at the 3rd picture as the pedal base is adjustable and slides out a long way. The first pic is setup close but is good for the couch.
@zorrt has a good point, there are other options of you don't want to upgrade to the full cockpit but make sure they have lots of adjustments available like this one.
I started with this next level stand and added many of the bolt on accessories over the years. Very happy for the price and still going strong with lots of use.

It's set up very weird in the picture. I'm built like a T-Rex and it's fine for me, you can adjust the pedals much further out. I don't use mine often, but it works well for me.

  • Has anyone had any luck adapting this to a flight sim setup? Or have any recommendations for alternatives?
